COLOMBIA: Morocota Gold Confirms 14 Gold Positive geophysical anomalies and completes bulk sampling

Morocota Gold has identified 14 IP and airborne geophysical targets on their Gomez Plata property in Antioquia, Colombia. These anomalies were confirmed to be gold positive by historical gold mines, gold in soil, stream geochemistry, and mineralized outcrops.

The highest priority target is a 2.4 km long structure defined by the results from airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys and accompanied by surface and underground gold mineralization. This target is supported by highly mineralized zones at surface and in old workings. Exploration and development activities are ongoing in underground workings on the eastern end of the structure. To date, a 1530 bulk sample program has produced 20kg of gold. A High Grade Ore Shoot has been confirmed below the old mine workings in this area.
A large IP chargeable anomaly occurs in the western end of the 2.4 km structure. This area has Gramalote style characteristics in regard to potassic alteration, sheeted veins, structural controls, and geophysics. The Au-Ag-Cu mineralization in this area appears to be intrusion related and has potential to be a large bulk tonnage deposit.  This target is now “Drill Ready” and accessible by road.
